Join a “Shark Tank”-style competition for startup companies in East Central Ohio – Guernsey, Muskingum, Tuscarawas, Coshocton, Jefferson, Belmont, Harrison, Carrol Counties and surrounding areas.   Startup companies up to 5 years of are invited to meet the public, talk about their products or services, and compete to get “investment” from their adoring public.  

The public is invited to help decide a winner!  For a $5 entry fee members of the public will be given a set amount of “monopoly” money which you can use to “invest” in your favorite companies.   

HOW IT WORKS: 

  • Pay your $5 bucks to get in & get your “money” to invest and keep them in the top 3

  • Get more “money” to support your favorite business

  • Talk to the different startup competitors (6:00-7:00 pm) 

  • Decide who you like best 

  • Put your “money” in the jar at your fav startup’s table – support several companies if you choose 

  • Listen to the 5-minute Pitch of the top investment earners (7:00-8:00 pm) 

  • Cheer for the winners!   

SHARK TUB COMPETITORS: 

Calling all Startup Companies up to 5 years old! 

You are invited to compete for cash prizes and professional advice.  No cost to register. 

You will have an opportunity to talk with the public about your company, product or service. You can convince the public of the value of your company, so they will “invest” in it with “monopoly” money. Invite your friends and family to participate so they can “invest” in your company.  

The 3 companies with the highest “investment” from the public will get 5 minutes on-stage to give your pitch. Several “sharks” will judge who are the winners.  Winners may receive cash prizes or professional advice from a squad of accountants, social media advisors, lawyers, etc.  to help you improve your business acumen. 

TIPS FOR COMPETITORS: 

  • Invite your family & friends to attend. Encourage them to support you. 

  • You may give away swag and samples from your business.  Please DO NOT sell anything. 

  • Prepare your 5-minute pitch in case you get to go on-stage. 

  • Enjoy meeting the public and sharing your company and products/services.  

REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITORS: 

Any company may compete which is registered with the Ohio Secretary of State and has an EIN number up to 5 years of age.  

Free registration for competitors.
