CALLING ALL STARTUPS -
SHARK TUB PITCH COMPETITION
Economic development partners in East Central Ohio are hosting a “Shark Tank”-style competition which will be held at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center, 7022 Glenn Highway, Cambridge, OH, 43725 on Tuesday April 25, 2023 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
Any new business with a registered EIN number up to 5 years old is eligible to compete. Each registered business will have a table to decorate to tell their company’s story and hand out marketing swag. This is great opportunity for startups to meet the public, grow their customer base, and possibly win money.
Between 6:00 – 7:00 PM, the public will have the opportunity to meet the small business owners. A $5 admission fee will get a supply of play money to “invest” in your favorite companies. You can buy multiple stacks of play money to invest more and raise the competition and excitement.
At 7:00 PM, the 3 companies with the most public “investment” will each have 5 minutes on-stage to pitch to the “Sharks” (judges). There will be up to $4,000 in cash prizes!
