ANNOUNCEMENT: Team Tuscarawas Releases Web Development RFP

Tuscarawas County Economic Development Corporation (TCEDC)

The Tuscarawas County Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce the official release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the design and development of the Team Tuscarawas website.

As we continue to drive growth and innovation within our region, we are seeking a creative and technically proficient partner to build a digital platform that reflects our evolving mission and serves as a vital resource for our community, educators, and industry partners.

The Evolution of Team Tuscarawas

The roots of this initiative lie in the Tuscarawas County Industry Sector Partnership (ISP). Formed as a collaborative effort between local manufacturers, educational institutions, and civic leaders, our Ohio Manufacturers’ endorsed ISP was designed to bridge the gap between workforce supply and industry demand.

By identifying specific skills gaps and creating direct pathways to manufacturing, the ISP aims to foster a more resilient local economy. However, as our landscape changed, we felt our identity needed to represent the spirit and collaborative nature of our county.

Why We Are Rebranding

The shift from the "Industry Sector Partnership" to Team Tuscarawas (Training and Education Alliance for Manufacturing) is a deliberate move to align our brand with our core mission: Collaborative-Centric Progress.

Our decision to rebrand stems from two primary goals:

  • Mission Clarity: While "Industry Sector Partnership" described what we did, Team Tuscarawas describes who we are. We are a unified front of businesses, educators, and citizens working toward a common goal of creating an equitable and sustainable local workforce.

  • Community Connection: We want our digital presence to feel more accessible and welcoming to everyone, providing and looking for new opportunities.

The new website will be the heartbeat of this rebrand, serving as a modern "front door" for career resources, training opportunities, and manufacturing alignment.
